1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using HaloTasker.com ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

HaloTasker provides a comprehensive project management and task tracking platform designed to help teams and individuals organize, collaborate, and execute their work efficiently. Our service includes task management, team collaboration tools, project tracking, messaging, ticketing systems, and related features.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your data as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain all rights to your data, and you may export or delete your data at any time. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by HaloTasker and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

7. Subscription and Payment

Some aspects of the Service may be provided for a fee. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described on our pricing page. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

Platform payment fee. HaloTasker collects a fee of 1% of the payment amount on all payments collected through the Service, including payments processed through a Stripe account you connect to your workspace. This fee covers the facilitation of payments, use of the HaloTasker platform, the provision and maintenance of the Stripe connection, and associated running costs. The fee is deducted automatically at the point of payment and is non-refundable. By connecting a Stripe account and collecting payments through HaloTasker, you authorise this fee.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HALOTASKER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL HALOTASKER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HaloTasker and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
