Frequently asked questions
Do I have to upload my PDFs?
No. It finds the PDFs on your website by itself. You can also upload PDFs and Word documents that aren't on your site.
Can I stop it sharing some PDFs?
Yes. Switch sharing off for any PDF, or turn PDF recommendations off completely in the chatbot's settings. It can still answer from them.
What about scanned PDFs?
It reads PDFs that contain text. A PDF that is only a scanned image has no text to read, so it can't learn from it.
Will it make things up?
It answers from your website, your documents and the questions and answers you add. You can tell it to only answer from what it's been taught, and when it doesn't know it says so and offers a form, your phone number or a message of your choice.
